This week’s character challenge is to be dependable. Being dependable means that you are trustworthy and reliable. We can show that we are dependable by keeping our promises, following through, completing our work on time, and coming to class on time.

This week’s character challenge is to be thankful. Even when life gets tough, it is important to find things to be thankful for. You might be thankful for your family, the roof over your head, having running water, food to eat, your friends, teachers, school, clothes to keep you warm, your pets, and the community in which you live. This week's character challenge is to be prepared. We show our teachers that we are prepared by completing our homework, being on time, coming to class with all of our materials, and studying for tests. Being prepared can help us reach our full potential not only in school, but in many other aspects of life.
