Can you believe it's already 2nd quarter!? With a new quarter, comes a new Indian PRIDE character trait--integrity. Integrity means doing the right thing when nobody is watching. The first weekly character challenge for the 2nd quarter is to be trustworthy. This is a very important quality to have in school and in our relationships. We show that we are trustworthy in school by completing our school work with honesty (even when the teacher isn't looking). We show our friends that we are trustworthy by being honest and not talking behind each others' backs and avoiding gossip (something that can be a bit of a challenge in junior high). How can you be more trustworthy in school, at home, and with your friends?

This week's character challenge is to be punctual. Being punctual shows respect for not only others but for yourself. Punctuality shows that you are reliable and trustworthy. Being on time shows that you respect and value others' time.
